by Nancy B. Kennedy
Drawn from the day-to-day lives of our nation's doctors, Miracles & Moments of Grace brings 50 inspirational, true-life stories that touch the heart.
In Miracles & Moments of Grace: Inspiring Stories from Doctors, Nancy Kennedy brings together a notable collection of compelling first-person stories which come from the family and military doctors, OB/GYNs, dentists, and missionary doctors who care for people across this nation and beyond. These doctors are eyewitnesses to amazing displays of divine intervention, whether in small moments of grace or through events experienced as miracles. Their stories range from rescuing victims of the 9/11 terrorist attack on the Pentagon to the surprisingly joyful reaction of a mother who delivered a Down Syndrome baby, and from a dentist relating how his work on a missions trip touches the life of a Mongolian woman, to a hospice doctor sharing how a terrible secret kept for 50 years tortured a man in his final days. Both touching and tragic, these stories find the extraordinary in everyday lives.
