Kevin Sherrington has been a sportswriter for more than forty years and has worked with The Dallas Morning News since 1985. Sherrington has twice been named among the nation's top ten sports columnists and has been voted Texas Sportswriter of the Year five times by his peers. He has also taught journalism at Richland College and Southern Methodist University.

Marjorie Herrera Lewis, an award-winning writer, became a Dallas Cowboys beat writer while with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram in the 1980s and later went to work for The Dallas Morning News. Lewis teaches media ethics at the University of North Texas as well as classes at The University of Texas at Arlington and other institutions.
