How much do you know about your origins? Let this series guide you through the powerful story of the Churches of Christ.
In 2000, the Atlas of American Religion listed Churches of Christ as one of seven "national denominations" represented in all regions of the United States. Numbering over a million members in the United States and more than double that around the world, Churches of Christ are a major presence on today's Christian landscape.
Yet many people, including many members, know little about this group's origins and development. This video series explains this Christian tradition to both insiders and outsiders in a frank and honest way.
This DVD and companion booklet will lead you through the beginnings of Churches of Christ in America and their commitment to visible unity of all Christians and faithfulness to Scripture. Learn about the painful circumstances that led to division and separation in the twentieth century, and then come to understand some of the challenges this Christian body faces as it moves into the twenty-first century.
The series is comprised of six segments of 20-24 minutes each.
